(In the Project Settings make sure "Optimize images before stitching" is unchecked). 103 images seemed to be no problem for this little. The panoramas will appear in the folder with all the images. Autopano Pro is expensive at 99 (approximately 150US), but it was the only software I tried that was capable of doing what I needed it to do. When it is done a message will appear asking "Do you want to send the project list to Batch Stitcher". In the "Use template" window choose "Use current project as a template". Tell PTGui there are 3 images in each panorama. Point to the folder with all the sequences images. Go Tools/Batchbuilder/Generate new projects. the first images from cameras1, 2, and 3 and load them in PTGuiĬalibrate this sequence with PTGui and export a panorama to check it. Put all the images in the same folder so they now comprise sets of three alphabetically eg. Use a file renamer to rename all the images from sequence 1: image_0001a.jpg, image_0002a.jpg etc Rename the images from sequence 2: image_0001b.jpg, image_0002b.jpg etc Rename the images from sequence 3: image_0001c.jpg, image_0002c.jpg etc (Here is a short version of how to stitch videos with PTGui Pro:Ĭonvert the videos to frame sequences - say three cameras - three sequences - with Virtualdub, After Effects or something. Quite a few people (myself included) just use the batch stitching tools in the much cheaper PTGui Pro for video stitching but it has a steeper learning curve and is slower. Its main competitor are the tools from Kolor but they are even more expensive (you need their Autopano Pro tool as well as the video tool). You need to make templates for the stitching in PTGui Pro so that is another purchase. It is very fast, it has stabilization and levelling tools. There is a Video-Stitch demo you can try.
